Fall Themed Pocketfold Invitation

Don't you just love it when brides plan ahead? Kristi is having an October 2009 wedding and she is already picking out invitations.
She wanted to combine the bronze, opal and the gold to give a wonderful fall theme.
I designed this invitation and recently received a response from Kristi via email saying "We loved the invitations you did. It was exactly what I wanted". It makes me warm and fuzzy inside to know that she was satisfied with the sample.

I look forward to working with Kristi!

What's your theme?

Many brides go back and forth with the idea of what theme they want there wedding to be. Well Jennifer and Michael knew they wanted a beach themed wedding. A few weeks ago I was asked to design a pocketfold invitation for them. The couple wanted the invitation to be a little more unique by adding their picture.....here goes

And the winner is........

So the LIW 09ers were out in numbers in October for their 09 shower. If you are not a LIWer you probably have no idea what this is. Each year the LIwers plan a shower where they all come out to eat, have fun and sometimes exchange gifts (like a real bridal shower). There were many vendor giveaways and as an LIW vendor I decided to give one lucky bride a personalized unity candle set. The recipient of this candle set was Martha. Even though Martha isn't getting married until September 2009, she said receiving her set now would make everything seem so much more real. Martha's theme is brown and pink (lovely colors). Congrats Martha and I hope you like your prize.

Bachelorette Party Invites.....

Here is a cute invite we created for a Girl's Night Out

Will you be my bridesmaid?

Choosing your bridal party can be a hard decision. Maybe all your friends will expect you to ask them and this may be a problem if you only want a small bridal party. Are you unsure as to which of your friends you should choose as bridesmaids? Are you thinking that picking one friend over another can cause a conflict? Do you feel like you have to invite someone you'd rather not have involved? These are all things that may cross your mind. Bridesmaids have certain responsiblities and you will need to make this clear to each of your bridesmaids. But at the same time do not expect too much from your maids as they too have their own lives. These cute cards are a unique way to ask your friends "will you be my bridesmaid?" If you are interested in any of these cards, contact us for a quote.

Programs

So yesterday I was at the rehearsal of Liz & Chris at Blessed Sacrament Church in New Rochelle. It was such an organized rehearsal. Everyone showed up on time and the Monsignor did a full rehersal. The couple will get married on Saturday and according to the forecast.....it should be a beautiful day. Congrats to Liz & Chris!!! Here are the programs I made for them. The layers at the bottom say " Order of Ceremony", "Wedding Party" and "Acknowledgement":

This is the 3150th wedding for the Monsignor that is doing their wedding....Is that a record or what?!
